June 4, 1999 - Atlanta � The Preston Phillips Partnership, Inc.- Architects
and Engineers announced the completion of design work on Holiday Inn Express
in Tyler, Texas.
This mid-market hotel was designed to meet the new Holiday Inn Express
prototype design standards. The hotel will be located on at 3243
Gentry Parkway and sits on approximately two acres of land.
The hotel guestrooms will be competitively priced and will target the business
traveler.
The project design team at Preston Phillips consisted of Tony Patel,
AIA, Senior Project Manager, James Brink, AIA, Project Architect and Shakila
Haque, Project Coordinator on the design of this mid-market hotel.
Janti LLC is the owner/developer of the 3-story project which will have
69 guestrooms, an exercise room, a 2-story lobby and a swimming pool.
Construction is expected to start in early June 1999 and completed in early
2000.
The Preston Phillips Partnership, Inc. was formed in 1995. In
the past four years, the firm has rapidly expanded from two to 65 people
and is expected to exceed $8,000,000 in total revenues in 1999. Other
divisions include retail, office and multi-family. Current hospitality
projects include the Holiday Inn, Motel 6, Country Hearth Inn, Microtel
Inn and Days Inn brands. More recently the firm was named among the
top 25 architectural firms in Georgia and is currently working on 12 hospitality
