Local Jacksonville Publication Recognizes Digital Agency as Community Leader

Jacksonville, Fla. – (March 3, 2015) Vizergy – Digital Travel Marketing, the hospitality industry’s leading provider in hotel Internet marketing, is honored to have been chosen by 904 Magazine as one of Jacksonville’s ‘Companies with Heart’ for the second consecutive year, and for community recognition at the publication’s fourth annual gala luncheon held this week in downtown Jacksonville.

This annual event has become a mainstay in the community over the last several years, shining a light on the charitable efforts put forth by local businesses in the growing commerce landscape of this burgeoning metropolitan area in Northern Florida.

Robert Arnold, President, and Holly Montroy, Human Resources Manager for Vizergy were in attendance to gratefully accept the award on behalf the company. Vizergy was also proud to introduce April Barclay at the event, an associate who was selected to represent the company at the luncheon based on her overwhelming giving spirit and philanthropic contributions in 2014. In addition to volunteering with the Christ Church Food Pantry and the St. Johns County Pet Center, Barclay organized an in-office drive for donations benefitting the Children’s Home Society, setting an excellent example amongst her colleagues and industry peers.

“Our continued success as a company allows us the opportunity to give back and help those in need,” said Arnold. “I’m particularly proud of our employees for sharing their passion for numerous philanthropies and putting forth this extra effort that is so critical in bolstering positive growth within the local community.”

Vizergy’s corporate philosophy on community giving encourages employees to involve the company in causes they are passionate about. Vizergy employees are given and encouraged to use a half day of paid time off per quarter to participate in community and charity events. In 2014, Vizergy’s staff of fewer than 100 employees donated thousands of dollars and numerous hours to various charitable causes, including: Angelwood Inc., Homes of Life, Seamark Ranch, National Parkinson Foundation, Operation Supply Drop and Shake-A-Leg Miami.
