January 21, 2014 - DESTIN, Fla. and MCLEAN, Va. - Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide's global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 130-room Hampton Inn & Suites Destin, located at 1625 Highway 98 East.

The hotel is owned by Northumberland Hotel Partners, LLC. and operated by Chartwell Hospitality, LLC.  It is the first Hampton property in Destin and the 141st in the state.  Hampton Inn & Suites Destin brings 25 new jobs to the area.

Situated within walking distance of Destin's beaches and the Gulf of Mexico shoreline, Hampton Inn & Suites Destin offers easy access to many popular Destin attractions and shopping options.  Local family attractions include Track Family Recreation Center and Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park.  Guests can also enjoy Harborwalk Village with unique waterfront stores and local dining.
