Atlantic City, New Jersey(July, 2017) – Fans and friends of the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino will have their chance to take home a piece of the famed resort when it opens its doors to the public one last time during a Liquidation Sale set to begin July 6th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.

NCL/National Content Liquidators, leading experts in hotel liquidation management, has been contracted to clear the hotel and casino of its contents.

The Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino emerged on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in 1990,  as the largest casino in the world.  The self-dubbed “eighth wonder of the world” hosted an unforgettable opening ceremony, with Michael Jackson appearing as the guest of honor.  It is still one of the most lavish grand openings to date.  It remained the highest grossing casino in Atlantic City until the opening of  The Borgata in 2003. The Taj officially closed it’s doors on October 10, 2016 and will be redeveloped as the city’s first Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

NCL’s Liquidation sale is open to both the hospitality industry and the general public.  It will continue daily, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm and Sunday, 12:00-5:00 pm until sold out.  The sale is expected to be well attended so early arrival is encouraged as the sale is “first come, first served”.

Items of interest for sale will be the complete contents of the hotel’s 1,200 guestrooms and suites, flat screen TV’s, Poker Room tables and chairs, Crystal Chandeliers and Sconces, Baby Grand Piano, Hand Embroidered Burmese Thai Kalaga Tapestries, and much more.
