Dec. 08–It used to be that the largest city in Metro Manila had a single hotel to its name and only a handful of motorist inns. Thankfully, in the last several years, boutique hotels began sprouting around Quezon City's busiest districts, what with a growing surge in the number of business and leisure travelers in the northern metro.

Before the year ends, a brand-new property has opened its doors in Quezon City again, making its now flourishing hospitality industry more vibrant than ever.

Prime Hotel is the latest addition to Quezon City's commercial and leisure circles, and in the last few weeks has been catering full blast to a growing group of business travelers and visitors. Located on Sgt. Esguerra Street, it is a stone's throw away from the city's entertainment hubs and malls. Highly accessible, it is very close to Edsa and a mere walking distance to the MRT.

"Quezon City is Metro Manila's largest city and is fast becoming an important destination for business and leisure travelers," explained Marvin Tiu Lim, Vice President for Marketing of Prime Hotel during the launch.

"We want our hotel to become a watering hole for people who want a different kind of business traveling and leisure experience. We want them–businessmen, families and group of friends–to have a comfortable stay, as they enjoy our good service and affordable rooms."

The hotel further boasts of ballrooms for use as venues for different occasions, as well as function rooms with state of the art audio visual equipment for meetings.

Meanwhile, 39 hotel rooms offer patrons several sizes to choose from. The room sizes range from 12 sqm to 15 sqm for the Traveler's room to a spacious 38 sqm floor area for the two-Bedroom suite. For those who need a more convenient space for themselves or their families, the hotel also has such the Superior and De Luxe rooms, as well as the Premium and the Presidential suite.

"All of these rooms and suites are appointed, beautifully, with the most modern furniture, fixtures, and amenities with the guests' comfort and relaxation in mind," Lim said. "Moreover, the rooms are competitively and affordably priced."

As for amenities Lim shared, "After they hold their meetings and events, or the hotel has readied other features to help them relax and unwind. To start with, we have the Nautilus Rooftop Whisky Bar. We take pride in this as this is one of the best designed bars in the Metro.

"We also have a fitness center and a KTV room, which I believe no other hotels have. Moreover, we are the first hotel in the Philippines with a Game Room that offers Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality for guests.

"At the end of the day, we can reaaly say that this is not a typical hotel you see in other places here in Quezon City. It is a must-visit entertainment destination as well," he ended.
