Orlando, Florida – June 9 – During their recent all-associate meeting held in Orlando Florida at the beginning of May, ProfitSword, LLC, had the pleasure of giving back to the community that has helped them grow into a leading provider of business intelligence applications for the hospitality industry. All 33 associates participated in a team building exercise which resulted in the building of bicycles to be donated to a local charity.

Co-Owners of ProfitSword, Tili Findley and Mike Patton, both exuded a tremendous amount of pride in their associates during the event. "I couldn't believe how our team embraced the entire exercise," said Patton. "They really got into the idea of doing something for charity and it comically became very competitive. The teams still razz each other a month after the event!"

Prior to the conference, Findley conducted an extensive search to find a deserving charity. "We wanted to work with a group that addressed the needs of our community, not necessarily a national charity. The Mustard Seed was a perfect fit and does great work here in Orlando." The Mustard Seed of Central Florida was established in 1984 at a time when homelessness was just beginning to emerge as a community-wide epidemic. It grew from the personal commitment of the founder, Carol Kane, who saw all homeless individuals, regardless of race, creed, or social status, simply as God's children in need of assistance. The Mustard Seed is the only Furniture and Clothing Bank in Central Florida. The Mustard Seed collects donations of furniture, appliances, household items, linens & dishes as well as anything and everything to create a home, and grants the donated items to pre-qualified families and individuals to help re-establish a home.

"Children are often the most overlooked individuals when it comes to rebuilding a home," according to Kathy Baldwin, Executive Director of the Mustard Seed. "We truly appreciate ProfitSword's donation of the bicycles. Clothing and shelter are always the first priority when rebuilding lives, but these bicycles will go a long way to enrich the life of a child who has lost nearly everything!"

The conference was held May 1-3; however, the bikes were just recently awarded to deserving individuals. "The first little boy to receive his own 'new' bike was so happy he began to cry," said Baldwin. "ProfitSword's teamwork has truly helped our community."

"When I passed around the photo of the child receiving his bicycle, the response from our associates was overwhelming – they all want to do it again soon," said Findley. "And hearing that sentiment makes me very proud of our entire team."
