Plans for this project have been submitted to the planning and zoning commission and will appear for a hearing on 1/6/15 for master plan approval. Once the project has approval for the master plan, it will have to appear again for additional hearings and permits.

On 9/26/13, a representative from the town of Ridgefield (CT) stated that bids for developer for this project closed on 9/20/13. The town will most likely discuss and negotiate the sale of the property to Stephen J Zemo Real Estate Development & Property Management before sending the sale to a vote. This process is expected to take two to three months.
As of 9/26/13, one bid has been submitted for this site and the prospective buyer plans on developing a hotel on the property.
