Mayor Walter Maddox, of The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce was among the distinguished guests in attendance to witness the ribbon-cutting. Local artist, Amy Echols, was present to unveil the Hotel Indigo logo art installation located behind the front desk. Additionally, Tim Harrison, President of Harrison Construction, Judd Bobilin of the development company Chance Partners, and multiple hotel officials were available to provide interviews and guided hotel tours.

The new Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown hotel is uniquely designed to reflect the culture, character and history of the surrounding neighborhood.
