COMO Hotels & Resorts luxurious new address is an Australian first for the Singapore based hotel group.

Comprising of 48 guest rooms, COMO The Treasury, located at the heart of Perth’s central business district, is one of Western Australia’s most eminent new hotels. Set within the city’s renowned ‘State Buildings’ – a city landmark used variously for over 100 years as a seat of government, post office and treasury – the property has been meticulously restored by Kerry Hill Architects to reflect its heritage. It officially opened its doors last month after an extensive 3-year and $110 million works project, essentially reinvigorating part of the CBD in need of gentrification.

McLaren Technologies Managing Director Matthew White said while the hotel is exquisite in its finishings and the building itself impressive, ultimately it is the staff and technology tools employed that delivers results and distinguishes an outstanding hotel from the rest.

“As part of our project brief two things became apparent when it came to COMO – staying at any COMO Hotel and Resort offers more than accommodation, and COMO creates memorable experiences worth re-living,” he said.

“Technology was therefore an important lynchpin in helping COMO The Treasury set a high benchmark in customer comfort and care.”
