Guestware is a unique Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution designed specifically for the hotel industry. Leading hotels and hotel management companies use Guestware at the property and enterprise level to manage guest loyalty, guest recognition, service delivery and facilities maintenance. We provide implementation services and training for a global client base.

We are looking for an individual with experience in delivering on-site training for a software company. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to understand and confidently deliver training for Guestware’s products are important. Previous experience working in an operational or management capacity at a hotel is preferred.

This position provides an opportunity to travel globally conducting on-site training for our hotel customers, while overseeing the successful launch of the Guestware solutions. This position will be located at our company headquarters in downtown Seattle.

The Implementation & Training Specialist is responsible for traveling to the hotel properties to setup the initial Guestware system configuration, train the hotel staff, and oversee the “go live” process. The Specialist will learn all aspects of the Guestware product and be prepared to present the benefits and usage of the various modules. They will work closely with the Guestware Support team to resolve any issues that arise during the course of the implementation. The Specialist will be responsible for creating an exceptional implementation experience for our customers.

Approximately 75% to 85% of an Installation & Training Specialist’s time could be spent at the customer sites, including international locations. Travel will take you to upscale hotels around the world including Asia, Middle East, Europe and South America. This position offers a great opportunity to see many interesting places while being continually challenged.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a full service hotel or resort, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role, with a solid understanding of hotel operations
  • At least 3 years of experience traveling to customer sites to provide software training to end users
  • Ability to travel 75% to 85%
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience speaking in front of a group of up to 20 people
  • A positive customer-centric attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to follow through and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English including strong reading and writing skills. Additional language skills is a plus
  • Experience with technical products (hardware, networking, software) is desirable
  • Experience developing training materials or technical writing is a plus
  • 2 to 4 year college degree preferable
