Lambertville, NJ, November, 2014—Long a landmark along the Delaware River, The Lambertville Station Inn now takes its place among New Jersey’s most prominent conference and events venues with an ambitious, $4 million expansion program.

The inn’s impressive new conference center, with 5000 square feet of combined, flexible conference space, is now available for corporate meetings, gala events, business entertaining and weddings. Thanks to an innovative architectural redesign of the inn’s brick façade, its conference space has been expanded and transformed. Two of its three floors now feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls, further opening the inn’s spectacular views of the Delaware and neighboring New Hope, Pennsylvania. The project included the addition of the stunning new Riverview Suite. With 960 square feet, a double-sided fireplace, a bar and sitting room, it is ideal as a VIP or hospitality suite and as a romantic bridal retreat. The suite’s impeccable, custom furnishings make a strong and luxurious design statement. All 46 guestrooms have been renovated in a contemporary and luxurious style.

The Lambertville Station Inn opened in 1985, across from the popular restaurant, Lambertville Station. Two of the Station’s owners, Dan Whitaker and Rose Carbonara saw a need and an opportunity. “There were no full service hotels in either Lambertville or New Hope,” notes Dan Whitaker. “There were great B&Bs, but more people were visiting Lambertville and many corporations relocating to the area. The time was right for a full service hotel that met the needs of both business and leisure travelers.”

Dining Options

Just across from the inn and under the same management, is the Zagat-rated Lambertville Station Restaurant. The restaurant is set in the original historic stone building that housed the Lambertville Train Station. Open for lunch and dinner, Lambertville Station offers a number of dining options and several distinctive dining rooms, including a new Wine Cellar and the Delaware Room, which hosts private events. “Lambertville Station provides all the inn’s food and beverage services and that gives us an array of dining options,” Conference Director Sharon DeFelices says. The restaurant’s eclectic American menu, noted wine cellar and experienced staff, provide innovative menus that cater to every taste and personal requirement. Tapas, sushi, fine cheeses and hot and cold hors d’ oeuvres make a memorable cocktail party. Planners can host lunch and dinner in the restaurant’s various dining rooms. “We are very aware of the cultural diversity and special requirements and of our guests today,” says Sharon DeFelices. Lambertville Station provides vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Many of the restaurant’s culinary events are held in the inn’s Riverside Ballroom including a lavish Sunday Brunch Buffet.

The Lambertville Station Inn is located on the banks of the Delaware River in the charming riverside of town of Lambertville, New Jersey.
