iHome® manufacturer to unveil space-saving desktop and nightstand charging units with up to three power plugs and four USB ports at HX: The Hotel Experience; Visit Hotel Technologies in Booth 2537

Rahway, N.J. (November 14, 2016) — Planning to add additional charging outlets to guestrooms in 2017? Data suggests you should be. Business travelers across the U.S. and Canada say they want more standard and USB outlets in rooms, along with chargers for smartphones and/or laptops. Today at HX: The Hotel Experience in New York, Hotel Technologies is showing two convenient, compact charging devices for the desktop and nightstand: the Hi20 Triple Charging Power Plug with Quadruple USB Charging and the Hi10 Dual Charging Power Plug with Dual USB Charging and Nightlight.

The new Hi20 and Hi10 will be on display in Booth 2537 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center November 13 to 15.

The iHome® Hi20 and Hi10 are space-saving desktop units for hotel guestrooms that can power all mobile devices without compromise. The Hi20 features three 125V three-prong outlets with built-in surge protection PLUS four USB ports (two standard 1 amp ports and two 2.4 amp rapid charging ports). The Hi10 is equipped with two 125V plugs, two USB ports (one standard 1 amp and one 2.4 amp rapid charge) PLUS it sports a highly functional nightlight with on / off controls. Both units come with a six-foot heavy duty power cable.

“Hoteliers who want to meet their guests’ demands for more plugs and ports in guestrooms can easily deliver with the iHome® Hi20 or Hi10,” said Ely Ashkenazi, Hotel Technologies Managing Director. “These units are designed to attach to the desk without cluttering the surface so that no guest will have to go searching under desks and furniture for an unused outlet. The footprint is small but the power output is not; the Hi20 can simultaneously charge up to seven devices, including laptops, smartphones, wearables and cameras, and the Hi10 can charge up to four devices.

“A really cool feature of the Hi10 is the nightlight,” he added. “There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night and realizing that you forgot to charge your mobile device. Rather than stumbling around in the dark, guests can find the charging plug they need without incident, and without getting blinded in the process.”

Hotel Technologies products are in virtually every major global hotel chain, including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Disney, Wynn, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Omni Hotels, MGM Grand, and many others. HX attendees are encouraged to pre-schedule an appointment with Chris Brunt by calling 609-752-2263 prior to the show.
