ATLANTA, Ga. (October 24, 2016) – Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based, private hotel management company, named Kevin Robert area general manager of the company’s recent acquisitions in the Twin City Quarter complex. In his new role, Robert will transition HVMG into the Winston-Salem market and lead the management of the area’s operations team consisting of the 315-room Marriott, the 147-room Embassy Suites, and the 100,000 sq. ft. Benton Convention Center.

Robert offers more than 16 years of entrepreneurial hospitality experience. In addition to several successful general manager roles, he has held management company leadership roles, as well as development, asset management, and operations. Prior to joining HVMG, Robert was executive vice president of operations at Expotel Hospitality Services, president of operations at Five Points Hospitality, general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn – Arlington/Courthouse Plaza and Hilton Garden Inn in Tampa, Fla. As a partner and CEO of Pyramid Hospitality & Development, he tripled corporate revenues, grew the company from five managed hotels to 15 hotels within three years and increased portfolio performance by 16 percent in room revenue and 19 percent GOP. His GM and related experience includes franchisors such as Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and IHG, along with independent resort and boutique properties. Robert studied business management at Louisiana State University and earned a certificate in hotel administration from Michigan State University.
