Dec. 17–A New York investment company has bought 15 hotels in Pennsylvania and West Virginia from a Harmar developer.

Garrison Investment Group did not disclose terms of the deal with Harmar’s Kratsa Properties, which had owned and managed 12 hotels in Allegheny County and one each in Washington County, Westmoreland County and Wheeling.

Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality, a minority partner in the deal, will manage the hotels for Garrison.

The properties include SpringHill Suites hotels in the North Shore, South Side, Frazer, Monroeville, West Mifflin and Wheeling; Residence Inn hotels in the North Shore and Wilkins; Holiday Inn Express hotels in the South Side, Bridgeville and Harmar; Comfort Inn hotels in O’Hara and Washington; a Fairfield Inn & Suites in New Stanton; and a Courtyard by Marriott in Monroeville.

“Garrison Investment Group is proud to acquire this strong portfolio of hotels, and we look forward to working with Ambridge Hospitality, given the management firm’s proven hotel management skills and success,” Garrison managing director Chuck Pomerantz said in a statement.

Kratsa did not return a call.
