FAIRFAX, Va. (Aug. 2, 2017) – Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management company and employer of choice in the hospitality industry, has announced the appointment of Michael Metcalf as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. A veteran hotelier, Metcalf possesses more than 25 years of hotel investment, underwriting, asset management and operations experience ranging from resort, luxury, upper upscale, convention, golf and condominium hotels.

Metcalf began his career at Crescent Hotels & Resorts more than 10 years ago and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations, Executive Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President.

As a key contributor to Crescent’s success Metcalf’s new role as Chief Operating Officer, will position him to be more engaged with Crescent’s capital partner relations, hotel investment strategy, asset management oversight, and securing management contracts.
