Nov. 13–Conrad Chicago turns 1 year old Tuesday, and the hotel is marking the occasion by giving customers a present: overnight stays for $11.14.

Get it? Nov. 14. $11.14.

The drastically reduced rate at the 20-story hotel, 101 E. Erie St., will be available for stays between Nov. 15 and March 31, with the exception of some blackout dates.

The $11.14 sale price is limited to three rooms per night, for a total of 384 rooms over the course of the eligible time period.

Once those three rooms sell out, the hotel will offer another special rate — $111.40 — for available standard king and queen rooms. (The 287-room hotel, which is part of the Hilton chain, includes 88 standard kings and 79 queens.) Rates typically start at $235 a night during this time frame.

How do you get a piece of the action?

The special rates go live at 11 a.m. Tuesday. You have to book by phone: Call 312-667-6700 and ask for reservations. Reference the group code "1YEAR."

The booking window will only be open for 24 hours; the offer expires at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Don't get greedy: Stays are limited to one night only.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to Youth Guidance, an education-focused nonprofit group that helps at-risk children.
