ROCKVILLE, Md., Nov. 2, 2016 — Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, announced it has signed an agreement with franchise partner Villa Developers & Investments, LLC, to develop a new Cambria hotel & suites in San Jose, Calif. The 11-story, 173-room Cambria property will be located at 2850 Stevens Creek Blvd.
Expected to open in 2018, the Cambria hotel & suites San Jose is less than five miles from San Jose International Airport, downtown San Jose, Cupertino and Santa Clara. The property is located across the street from the upscale Westfield Oakridge shopping mall. San Jose is nicknamed the "Capital of Silicon Valley" and the headquarters of many global technology companies, including Adobe, Cisco Systems, eBay, Hewlett-Packard, IBM and the North American headquarters of Samsung. The area is also home to three professional sports teams: the NHL's San Jose Sharks, Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes, and the NFL's San Francisco 49ers.

The 23,408-square-foot Cambria hotel & suites San Jose will showcase 1,800 square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool, fitness center, and rooftop restaurant and lounge.
Like all Cambria hotels & suites, the San Jose property will feature the contemporary bistro Social Circle®, serving a menu comprised of local specialties created by Chef Michael DeMaria; liquor, wine, and local craft beers, as well as freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches; and a barista bar.
Villa Developers & Investments, LLC, is an experienced builder in the South Bay area, specializing in the Cupertino, Los Gatos, Saratoga, and San Jose areas.
