ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 11, 2016 — Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, announced it has signed an agreement with franchise partner Nexus Companies ("Nexus") to begin plans for a new Cambria hotel & suites in Anaheim, Calif.

Expected to open in November 2018, the 345-room Cambria hotel & suites Anaheim is conveniently positioned in the center of Orange County at the intersection of West Katella Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard near Interstate 5. Located just a half mile from Disneyland and with easy access to the state-of-the-art Anaheim Convention Center, the Anaheim Ducks Honda Center, the Los Angeles Angels stadium, cosmopolitan shopping and trendy beach towns, it's the perfect home base for Southern California adventures.

The expansive 230,000-square-foot property will feature a palm-tree-lined, California-themed outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor movie screening wall, meeting space and a fitness center.

Like all Cambria hotels & suites, the Anaheim property will feature a contemporary bistro, Social Circle™, serving a menu comprised of local specialties created by Chef Michael DeMaria; liquor, wine, beer and freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches; and a barista bar.
