The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, December 2017 … BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Julie Davis-Petit director of sales and marketing for Stonewall Resort, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property located in Roanoke, West Virginia. André D’Amour, general manager, made the announcement.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Julie to our resort,” stated Mr. D’Amour. “Not only does she have strong leadership skills and an important familiarity with our resort and the West Virginia Market, she also brings hotel management company experience to her new position. We look forward to her active participation on our executive leadership team.”
Julie Davis-Petit previously served as task force director of events, sales and marketing for Benchmark, working on assignments in New Jersey, Texas, Florida and West Virginia. Prior to joining Benchmark, she held the director of sales and marketing position for Marriott Autograph Collection – Hotel ICON, a property Benchmark originally opened in Houston, Texas. Earlier Ms. Davis-Petit held several senior leadership positions for hotels and hotel management companies in locations throughout California.
Ms. Davis-Petit is a graduate of Sacramento State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is a Dale Carnegie graduate, and the recipient of numerous awards of excellence, including Manager of the Year, BOMA Chairman’s Award, JD Powers Team Leader Technology Award, and the Outstanding Executive Meeting Manager Award. She is relocating to the Roanoke area.
