Dallas, Texas (December 23, 2015) — Aimbridge Hospitality’s Caribbean division has assumed management of the 150-room Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Owned by Carambola Northwest LLC, a U.S. Virgin Islands entity, the luxury Caribbean resort is located seven miles from the St. Croix Airport on the secluded white sand beaches of the largest U.S. Virgin Island. Originally constructed in 1986 by Lawrence Rockefeller, the lodge style beach retreat articulates the beauty of St. Croix. Visitors can enjoy a stress-free day of exploring the historical towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted, play a round of golf at nearby Carambola Golf Club, find bliss at The Spa at Carambola, or snorkel and scuba dive on the adjacent Davis Beach.

The resort features 150 unique guestrooms contained in 26 separate buildings and five meeting rooms with over 12,500 square feet of meeting space. Guests can enjoy three food and beverage options including Saman for breakfast, the casual Flamboyant Beach Bar with seasonal inventive menu, and the Friday Night Pirate Buffet. Additional facilities and amenities include a fitness center, large outdoor pool with whirlpool, business center, barber and beauty salon, and a concierge desk ready to help guests plan their island activities.

"Aimbridge Hospitality is honored to work with Carambola Northwest on this incredible St. Croix resort to enhance the guest experience and bolster profitability," said Dave Johnson, President and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality. "We are excited to expand our Caribbean resort portfolio and our team looks forward to providing the ultimate vacation experience for our guests."
