Baton Rouge, Louisiana (July 14, ,017) – Aimbridge Hospitality has appointed David Weston as General Manager of the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, full-service, 223-room hotel.

Weston has more than 10 years of experience managing Hilton-affiliated properties in ascending roles; eight of them with Aimbridge Hospitality. Most recently, Weston managed a 240-room full-service Hilton Garden Inn in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, where he oversaw a multi-million dollar renovation, and assisted in elevating the property to rank number 18 out of 200 hotels in the Dallas market.

“I’m excited to be in Baton Rouge, a city known for its southern hospitality, and plan on working with my team to make the Embassy Suites an even more compelling choice for lodging and events.” Weston said. “We’re going to focus hard on delivering both the best hotel product and service the city has to offer.”.

In addition to new leadership, the Embassy Suites Baton Rouge is receiving interior and exterior updates. Energy efficient double-paned glass windows will provide guests a quiet and comfortable stay. In-room safes capable of holding a 17" laptop are also being added to each guest room. A remodeled Fitness Center, public area updates, and new landscaping round out the improvements, which will be completed this fall.
