ATLANTA, February 14, 2017 –Event organizers with the 29th annual Hunter Hotel Investment Conference, one of the nation’s top hotel investment conferences, are preparing for the most informative conference to date on March 22 – 24, 2017, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. With a line-up of the most recognizable names in hospitality and travel, the conference attracts the highest percentage of hotel owners and investors of any major hotel conference.

Also topping the list is Keynote Speaker Barry Sternlicht, chairman, and CEO of Starwood Capital Group, and recipient of the 2017 Hunter Conference Award for Excellence and Inspiration. Thomas Baltimore, chairman, president, and CEO of Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. and co-founder of RLJ Lodging Trust, will take the stage on Friday, March 24 as part of the endowed Bharat Shah Leadership Series. They are among more than 120 knowledgeable speakers who will address the conference.

The 3-day agenda offers a cross-section of diverse topics led by industry innovators, economists, investors and thought leaders in both main sessions and panel-style breakout discussions. With the guidance of a vibrant advisory board, Hunter works year round on soliciting feedback and recruiting the industry’s key players. Speakers will share their expertise and experience on a diverse range of topics including hotel values and investment, new development, brand updates, up-and-coming markets, and financing.

Conference highlights include Finance Friday, a day dedicated to hotel financing and raising equity, with an impressive panel lineup of over 20 active lenders and borrowers. Your Government and Your Business will provide updates from association leaders on the latest political developments and issues that face the industry on city, state and federal levels.

And lodging’s future will be well represented as the industry’s trailblazers make their debut in a panel titled Young Hoteliers Seize the Day.

“Our goal is for our attendees to understand current market conditions and industry trends so they can make informed decisions in the year ahead,” said Lee Hunter, co-chair of the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. “But the heart of our conference is providing time and opportunity for our attendees to have one-on-one conversations and meaningful exchanges. Networking and deal making is an important part of the Hunter Conference.”
