Hotel Online Special Report Hospitality Asset Services, LLC, Selected as Hospitality Representative in World Trade Center Conference With Japanese Delegation SAN DIEGO – Feb. 16, 1999–In the wake of intense market dealings with the Japanese over the past year, Hospitality Asset Services, L. L. C., of San Diego, a hotel/resort management and consulting firm, has conferred with a consortium of Japanese business delegates at San Diego’s World Trade Center as the sole representative of San Diego’s hospitality industry.

The major purpose of the exclusive meeting revolved around developing tourism on the unspoiled island of Okinawa. Gus J. Sader, managing partner for Hospitality Asset Services, L. L. C., said aside from the honor of being selected to represent San Diego’s hospitality industry, “the real thrill is the opportunity to express to the Japanese the interest we Americans have in the improvement of their economy and the desire to create an ongoing partnership in helping them to build tourism for many years to come.”

According to Kosei Yonemura, head of the Japanese delegation, Okinawa’s government is offering an irresistible incentive to American and international investors and developers. Currently subsidies of up to 300 million yen are being offered with the hope of increasing that financial incentive to 1.5 billion yen in the very near future. The Japanese say they are confident about Okinawa as a natural attraction of growth because of its climate, beaches, location and unspoiled environment. That is why they are keen on building their international conference business with the major focus being the world choice for the “2000 Summit.”

In his final observations Sader noted, “It is obvious the Japanese are hungry to get American know-how to help grow tourism… and that is what HAS, L. L. C. , will implement in Okinawa and the rest of Japan.”

C. offers an array of services in all aspects of the hotel industry, including hotel/resort management consulting, litigation support, investment/debt analysis, and negotiation of management contracts.
