Memphis, TN - January, 1998-- Promus Hotel Corporation, the Memphis-based hotel franchising and management company giant, signed a contract with Telman to optimize the telecom operations of 37 Felcor-owned Embassy Suite properties in the United States. Promus contracted with Telman to perform a system review for each hotel after an initial 12 property assignment revealed over $300,000 in annual benefits could be attained by following Telman's recommendations. Upon completion of this contract, the entire Felcor Embassy Suites portfolio will have had telecommunications system optimizations performed by Telman.
"There are really two aspects of a phone system to concentrate on. First is the lines that actually come in to the hotel, and their capacities and functionality. Second is the distribution of those lines and the services that are provided for guests through those lines", explains Steve Porter, Vice President- Operations, Embassy Suites for Promus.
