The REAP project allows qualified colleges and universities to receive copies of the NiteVision PMS program for training hospitality management students. "We are delighted to be affiliated with a progressive, dynamic institution such as Bergen Community College."

February 21, 2003 - REMco Software announced today an agreement to offer hotels and motels lower rates for processing credit cards using Business Payment Systems (BPS).
REMco Software's alliance with BPS allows hotels using REMco's NiteVision property management system to enjoy special rates for credit card processing. Hotel managers may choose either dial up or internet credit card authorizations. The lowered rates were negotiated with National Processing Company (NPC), the second largest processor nationwide.
"To put it simply, offering lower rates saves our customers money," stated Troy Huber, Vice President of Finance for REMco Software. "From what we have seen, savings can be over 25 percent from what a hotel might pay for another merchant account."
Steven Feldshuh, Vice President Sales for BPS, said, "We are very happy to make this deal with REMco. We see this as a win-win-win situation for us, REMco, and the hotels."

February 19, 2003 - REMco Software today announced the successful completion of an ambitious project to upgrade all InTown Suites properties to REMco's NiteVision property management system (PMS) software.
REMco Software developed a specialized version of NiteVision to match the individual needs of the owners of InTown Suites. REMco Software sent programmers to the corporate offices of InTown Suites to assist in the design of the custom programming and numerous reports. NiteVision was installed into all of the 118 properties, representing over 15,000 rooms in 21 states.
To ensure a seamless changeover, InTown Suites Information Technology (IT) personnel were sent to each hotel along with computers pre-loaded with the new PMS program. The system administrators worked while the office was closed to switch out the old computers with the new systems. "NiteVision is much better than the previous systems in many ways," said Johnny Cobb, InTown Suites Project Coordinator. "It is much easier to track guest information so we can ensure that things get done in a timely manner."
"The InTown Suites project was a model of how a hotel company with great ideas and an innovative solutions company like REMco can collaborate to create an outstanding product," said Mark Loyd, Vice President of Product Development for REMco Software. "Not only did InTown Suites benefit from the custom programming, but our current and future customers will benefit from the experience as well."

Most recently he was founder and President of Wetherly International, a Seattle-area hospitality technology firm with customers worldwide.
