�We are excited to announce this strategically important expansion of the Radisson brand in the growing South African market�, said Kurt Ritter. �This agreement allows Radisson SAS to expand its growth territories from previously only North Africa to Southern Africa. A total of 46 per cent of all overseas visitors to South Africa come from Europe, particularly the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, where Radisson SAS has a strong presence�, he added.

�South Africa has enormous potential for tourism with the global trend for increased adventure ecotourism and cultural travel and this offers exceptional value for overseas visitors.�  

This is the first expansion project of many for Radisson SAS into Southern Africa. Under the agreement, it is planned to develop at least six additional hotels in the next three years in the 14 Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries.  

Situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the Radisson Hotel Waterfront, is a luxurious hotel, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Cape Town�s coastline and prominent Table Mountain, one of the many tourist attractions which the hotel is located near.
