  Hersha Hospitality Management LP Launching
a Revolutionary New Hotel Concept;
Building Two Hotels Under the Same Roof,
a Mainstay Suites and Sleep Inn
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (March 6, 2000) --  Hersha Hospitality Management LP (HHMLP) has launched a revolutionary new hotel concept, in response to the changing travel patterns of both business and leisure travelers. The Pennsylvania-based hotel management company will open two hotels under the same roof, Mainstay Suites and Sleep Inn. The unique property combines 69 spacious suites and 79 traditional hotel rooms. Both hotels will open in June 2000 in King of Prussia, PA.

Travelers will choose their hotel based on their current needs, with standard rooms for brief stays and suites for extended stays or family trips, said Tracy Kuney, Vice President of Operations of HHMLP.
Another unique feature of the hotel is the integrated front desk system. Guests can check-in using an automated system or get assistance from front desk service representatives. The automated system is ideal for harried business travelers and returning guests.

The Mainstay Suites has 69 suites, each equipped with a full kitchen, dining area, large work area and bedroom. The kitchen comes with a microwave, two-burner range, sink, refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, cooking and serving utensils. The work area features a large desk with an ergonomic desk chair, 2-line speaker phone with data port and voice mail and free local calls. Many suites have sleeper sofas and can accommodate up to six guests. All guests receive free continental breakfast on weekdays and complimentary social hours several evenings a week. The Mainstay Suites is the nations first mid-market, extended stay hotel. Affordable daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.

The Sleep Inn has 79 traditional hotel rooms with untraditional amenities, such as an oversized walk-in shower, extra-large desk with data ports and local services pre-programmed into the telephones speed dial, premium towels and linens and complimentary coffee and USA Today.

Both hotels use a security key card at all entrances and share a business center with a photocopier and fax machine, indoor pool, exercise room, guest laundry area and even an outdoor barbecue area.

Both hotels are part of the worldwide Choice Hotels International system of over 3,500 Inns, Hotels, Suites and Resorts which include Sleep, Comfort, Quality, Clarion, Econo Lodge, Rodeway and Mainstay Suites.

The hotels are located just off Routes 202 and 76, convenient to Route 476.  The hotels are less than 2 miles from the Valley Forge Convention Center, The Plaza and Court at King of Prussia (the largest shopping mall on the East Coast) and Valley Forge National Historical Park. The newly-expanded Elmwood Park Zoo is less than four miles from the hotels and the Barnes Foundation, with an internationally renowned collection of impressionist art, is within 10 miles, as are many other tourist attractions.

Center City (Philadelphias downtown), home of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Independence National Historical Park, first-rate museums and world-class restaurants is less than 15 miles from the hotels. The Philadelphia International Airport is 27 miles from the hotels.

The Sleep Inn and Mainstay Suites are located at 440 American Avenue, King of Prussia, PA.
