| March 2000 - AX Holdings based in Malta
announced a number of changes in the groups senior structure including
the appointment of Peter A. Janssen as General Manager of the 434 bedroom
Suncrest Hotel Malta . The announcement was made by Angelo Xereb the Chairman
of the Group.
Peter
A. Janssen hails from Utrecht, Holland and has been involved in the hospitality
industry for the past 27 years and held senior management positions with
International Hotel Chains in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Far
East.
Fluent in four languages, he holds qualifications of six different countries.
In evidence of his experience, education and professionalism, he received
in March 1993 the prestigious designation Certified Hotel Administrator
(C.H.A.) of the American Hotel & Motel Association.
In September 1991 he was elected Member of the British based Hotel Catering
and Institute Management Association. M.H.C.I.M.A. Other memberships include
Certified Hotel Sales Executive (C.H.S.E.), of the Hotel Sales & Marketing
Association International (H.S.M.A.I), Chaine des Rotisseurs (Officer duTable),
the Global Hoteliers Club and the American Travel Association.
Peter Janssen is married with a son and a daughter.
