 Clyde Guinn Named SVP - Operations 
at Stanford Hotels Corporation
SAN FRANCISCO - Jan. 19, 2000 - San Francisco-based Stanford Hotels Corporation
announces today the appointment of Clyde Guinn as Senior Vice President - Operations with effect from Jan. 31, 2000.

Guinn, who is a Certified Hotel Administrator, brings to Stanford over 30 years� experience in the hotel industry. Guinn began his career while in high school as a busboy with Marriott Hotels in Washington, D.C. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he served in various positions with Marriott in Washington, D.C., New Orleans, and Houston and later opened the first Adam�s Mark Hotel as pre-opening direct of sales in Houston.

He later served as assistant vice president/sales and marketing for the Adam�s Mark brand and as a general manager in their Kansas City and Charlotte, N.C. properties. Guinn opened the four diamond Kansas City Marriott Plaza as general manager in 1986. He joined Radisson Hotels Worldwide in 1991 as regional Vice President and in 1997 he was promoted to Senior Vice President.

As a Senior Vice President, Management Services, for Radisson Hotels Worldwide based in Minneapolis, Guinn was responsible for all owned and managed Radisson Hotels in the U.S., Caribbean and Japan. Utilizing his considerable experience Guinn will be directly responsible for day to day operations for the group hotels with specific emphasis on building revenue and increasing efficiency and productivity. Stanford is committed to rapidly expanding its portfolio of 17 hotels.
