$400,000 in New Improvements |
| HONOLULU (Jan.25, 2000) After spending $400,000 on improvements,
ASTON's Honolulu Prince Hotel now welcomes travelers with more amenities
and a fresh new look.
The hotel now offers a new sitting area, adjacent to the main lobby, which provides a common area to relax, plan the day's activities or mingle with others. The area features tropical rattan furniture and vending machines for refreshments and snacks. All 125-rooms have received more than $150,000 in interior upgrades including new natural carpeting, Hawaiian foliage print drapes, new beds with tropical bedspreads and new windows. Standard and superior hotel rooms also received new 19-inch color television sets. In addition, the superior rooms offer in-room coffee makers. One- and two-bedroom suites feature new 27-inch color television sets, full kitchen facilities and wall-mounted hair dryers.
The hotel is located in the center of Waikiki, less than a 10 minute walk from Waikiki Beach and within walking distance to the International Marketplace and restaurants. Other amenities on property include laundry facilities and a nearby beauty salon and sports bar.
