The hotel now offers a new sitting area, adjacent to the main lobby, which provides a common area to relax, plan the day's activities or mingle with others. The area features tropical rattan furniture and vending machines for refreshments and snacks.

All 125-rooms have received more than $150,000 in interior upgrades including new natural carpeting, Hawaiian foliage print drapes, new beds with tropical bedspreads and new windows. Standard and superior hotel rooms also received new 19-inch color television sets. In addition, the superior rooms offer in-room coffee makers. One- and two-bedroom suites feature new 27-inch color television sets, full kitchen facilities and wall-mounted hair dryers.
