PARSIPPANY, NJ, Aug. 6, 1999--Days Inns of America has opened
its doors today in the Czech Republic, its first hotel in Europe. The 44-room
Days Hotel Lednice is 42 miles from Vienna.
�The introduction of the Days Inn brand in Eastern Europe offers visitors
quality lodging at an affordable price,� said Tom Davidson, chairman of
Sun Franchise Systems, Ltd. �The Days Hotel Lednice is located in the Moravian
wine region near Lednice Castle and its surrounding park and Minaret Tower,�
Davidson said.
The hotel is franchised by the Sun Franchise Systems Ltd., based in
Prague. Besides the Czech Republic, Sun Franchise Systems holds exclusive
franchise rights for Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, the Ukraine,
Russia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

The Days Hotel Lednice is a 3-story roadside hotel with 42-standard
rooms and two-suites. The facilities include four-conference rooms accommodating
groups up to 120, a restaurant serving local and international cuisine
and standard room amenities. |
Other Days Inn hotels are planned for Eastern Europe. Under development
and discussion by the Sun Franchise System are properties in Budapest,
Hungary, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
