WICHITA,
Kan. (May 16,
2013) –
Value Place, the nation’s largest economy extended-stay lodging chain,
honored
a select group of franchisees, properties and property managers earlier
this
month for their outstanding performance over the past year. The company
awards
were presented at the 2013 Value Place Annual Conference in Chicago.
Value
Place corporate personnel, franchisees, property management companies
and key
partner sponsors attended the ninth annual “New Heights – New Horizons”
event,
which serves as a forum to discuss and share best practices. The
conference also
provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate system-wide,
corporate and
individual achievements.
“We
witnessed many great achievements during 2012,” Dan Weber, Value Place
CEO,
said. “Our system maintained strong occupancy levels, expanded into new
markets
and was rewarded for our performance with a substantial jump in the
annual Entrepreneur Franchise 500 ranking.”
Weber
noted that Value Place successfully courted a $100 million private
equity
investment from Lindsay Goldberg LLC that he said will pave the way to
even
more expansion and enhancements. “With our
Williston, N.D., opening, we demonstrated our ability to help strategic
partners capitalize on emerging market opportunities,” Weber added.
“These
and other accomplishments were all achieved largely as a result of the
quality
and commitment of the strategic-partners and property management
companies whose
efforts are embodied by these awards,” he said.
