Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa today announced the appointment
of
Demetrio Maduro as general manager. Maduro strengthens the resort team
with
nearly 30 years of hospitality management experience. He spent part of
the
early stages of his career from 1993 to1999 at CasaMagna Marriott
Puerto
Vallarta as the director of groups and conventions and his return to
the resort
comes with much anticipation.

He will be responsible for implementing strategies to meet and exceed the needs for the 433-room beachfront property. As general manager he will look to build long-term customer relationships that enable achievement of the resort’s guest satisfaction objectives. With his array of past experience, Maduro will bring measurable improvement goals and resources to CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta. Maduro joins CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa after spending three years as general manager at Renaissance Caracas La Castellana Hotel. He has a strong understanding of multiple roles as he has achieved professional success with various positions at seven properties throughout Mexico and South America. These properties include Hotel Marriot Caesar Park Panamá in Panama City, Costa Rica Marriott Hotel, Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort, Panama Marriott Hotel, and JW Marriott Mexico City.
