Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (April 8, 2013) - Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Sioux Lees as Spa Director. A native of England who has garnered deep experience at upscale properties and spas around the world, Lees is responsible for all operations at the resort's full-service Hibiscus Spa. Lees joins the resort just in time for the debut of a multi-million-dollar renewal project which saw upgrades and additions through all guest rooms, suites, public spaces, meeting facilities, the fitness center and the island's largest freshwater swimming pool.

Lees arrived at the resort's pristine spot on Seven Mile Beach following a position as Opening Spa Operations Manager at Anantara Kihavah Villas in Maldives, winner of Hideaways "Newcomer of the Year" and one of Travel + Leisure's "Top 25 Most Romantic Hotels" for 2011. It was the last of three assignments for Lees in the Maldives, including a six-month run as Spa Manager overseeing the transition of Beach House Maldives into a Waldorf Astoria hotel and Spa Opening Manager of DIVA Maldives, a Naiade Resort, back in 2008.

Previously, Lees spent time on short-term contract as Opening Spa Operations Manager of Sparadise Spa & Salon in Bahrain and as Spa Treatment Manager, overseeing a team of 60 at the Willow Stream Spa, Fairmont Southampton Princess, Bermuda. In 2002, she launched her own two-address spa, SPA.KLE, in Ascot and Middlesex, overseeing everything from creation of the treatment menu to designing the spa logos and marketing materials.

A native of England, Lees has received professional training and qualification in a myriad of therapeutic techniques including reflexology, Tibetan Ayurveda, Chinese Acupressure and La Stone Therapy. When not at Hibiscus Spa, she enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking, water skiing, wakeboarding and cooking.
