announced that two of
its executives received The President’s Award at the Carlson 2013
Business
Conference held recently in Miami. Tom
Murray, general manager for the Country Inn and Suites, located in
Clive, Iowa,
near Des Moines, and Jeff Arman, general manager of the Country Inn and
Suites
in Brookfield, Wisconsin, received the award.
Bill Upshaw, president of CSM
Lodging, which owns and operates both hotels, made the
announcement.
“We congratulate both Tom and Jeff on receiving The President’s Award for 2013,” said Mr. Upshaw. “Both general managers were ideal candidates and are worthy recipients of Carlson’s annual prestigious honor.” The President’s Award was presented by Thorsten Kirschke, president, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, and Scott Meyer, vice president Midscale Hotel, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Each year, Carlson’s Country Inns and Suites, a leading midscale hotel brand, honors its top performing hotels with The President's Award, which recognizes properties that have consistently provided exceptional guest satisfaction and brand engagement. Hotels must achieve a stringent set of criteria to be eligible for The President’s Award, including: * Guest Satisfaction
Index (GSI) of 8.86 or higher as reported in
Medallia, the customer experience management solutions company
