Largest JW Marriott in the World Selects Guest-tek and Intelity
for Innovative Guest Room Technology


CALGARY, July 2, 2010 – Guest Tek™ Interactive Entertainment Ltd., a world-class provider of integrated broadband technology solutions, has been selected by the JW Marriott Indianapolis to implement it’s OneView™ Solution---a complete platform for converged Data, Video, Telephony and Voice—on a single broadband network.
 
Scheduled to open in February 2011, the JW Marriott Indianapolis will be the tallest hotel in the state at 34 stories and the largest JW Marriott in the world with 1,005 guest rooms. Moreover, with 104,000 square feet of event and meeting space on three floors and a direct connection via skybridge to the Indiana Convention Center, the hotel will offer not only the largest ballroom in the Midwest but also one of the largest Marriott ballrooms in the world.
 
JW Marriott Indianapolis, being built by White Lodging, chose to deploy Guest-tek’s OneView solution that delivers High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA), HD Video-On-Demand (VOD), and HD Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). As a completely Ethernet-based hotel, JW Marriott was drawn to Guest-tek’s robust menu and communications platform that runs on a converged IP network capable of supporting a wide range of customized applications.
 
Guests of the new JW Marriott will be delighted by interactive guest experiences on their in-room HD televisions, made possible through a partnership between Guest-tek and Intelity. Intelity’s ICE TV technology will allow hotel guests to order in room dining, make restaurant reservations, request wake-up calls, make spa reservations, request housekeeping or maintenance services, even check airline schedules and check in for flights using the remote and the television in their guest rooms.
