Marriott International has promoted William Shaw to Vice Chairman of the company. He was most recently the company�s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Arne Sorenson takes over from William Shaw as President and Chief Operating Officer of Marriott International. He was most recently the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and President, Continental European Lodging. Carl Berquist takes over from Sorenson as Marriott�s new Chief Financial Officer.

Las Vegas Sands has made Michael Leven its President and Chief Operating Officer, replacing William Weidner. Leven was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of US Franchise Systems, and had previously served in leadership roles for Holiday Inn Worldwide, Days Inn of America, and Americana Hotels. 

Paul Nash has transferred to the St. Regis New York as General Manager, taking over from Scott Geraghty who left in December to the Ritz-Carlton Central Park South. Nash was most recently the General Manager of the St. Regis Houston. He had previously held management positions with the Palace Hotel in San Francisco and the St. Regis Shanghai.

Vince Parrotta has transferred as General Manager to the Four Seasons Scottsdale, taking over from Tom Kelly who retires after thirty years with the company. Parrotta comes from his most recent position as General Manager the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, where he had been for the last two years. He joined the company in 1999 at the Four Seasons Chicago as Director of Rooms under Hans Willimann before moving up in leadership roles at the Four Seasons Las Vegas and the Four Seasons Aviara.

Nico Hallwass has been appointed General Manager of the Thompson Beverly Hills, taking over from Michael Carsch, who has left the company. Hallwass was previously based in New York, as Corporate Rooms Division Manager for Thompson Hotels.

The W South Beach has named Eduardo Fernandez General Manager. Fernandez was most recently the Senior Director of Operations � New Build & Transitions, for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He had previously served as General Manager of the Sheraton Suites Wilmington and Hotel Manager at the Sheraton Bal Harbour.

Keri Robinson has relocated to San Diego, keeping her title as Area Managing Director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts while assuming her new responsibilities as General Manager for the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. A Cornell graduate, Robinson was most recently overseeing the Sheraton Seattle as General Manager. She had previously served as General Manager of the Westin Pasadena and the Sheraton Cerritos.

The Westin New York at Times Square has promoted Gerard Widder to the role of General Manager. He joined the hotel in pre-opening in 2002 as Director of Finance and was most recently serving as Hotel Manager. He had previously served in various finance roles for the Waldorf=Astoria and the Regency.

Pierre Louis Renou has joined the Sofitel Lafayette Square in Washington, DC as General Manager. He takes over from Denis Dupart who has moved to the Sofitel St. James London. Renou was most recently the Operations Manager at the Sofitel Los Angeles after serving himself at the Sofitel St. James London as Hotel Manager.

The Emerson Resort & Spa has promoted Tracy Lynch to General Manager. She joined the resort in 1998 in retail for the property�s Country Store, serving most recently as Sales Director.

Raymond Vermolen has been named General Manager of the InterContinental Houston. He was most recently the General Manager of the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City. He had previously served as Hotel Manager at the InterContinental The Barclay New York and had overseen food and beverage operations at the InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, the InterContinental Alexandria and the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens.

The Whiteface Lodge Resort Spa has appointed Phil Anderson General Manager. Most recently, Anderson served as General Manager of the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta for four years. He had previously served in sales and marketing roles for Lodgian and the PGA National Resort & Spa, both in Florida.

James McCullough has been named Vice President and General Manager of the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside. He was most recently the General Manager for La Casa del Zorro Desert Resort in Borrego Springs. Previously, he spent five years with the Westward Look Resort in Tucson, and served as Executive Chef at several properties in Arizona and Colorado.

Dan Nadeau has been named General Manager of the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. He has been with Marriott for over thirty years and previously served several years as Area General Manager for the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. 

Tom Tabler has been appointed General Manager for the Westin Austin at the Domain scheduled to open spring 2010. He had previously been with Marriott International for over twenty-one years, most recently as Texas-Market Director of Sales.

The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa slated to open March 2010, has named Arthur Coulombe General Manager. He was most recently the Area General Manager of the San Antonio Marriott Hotels and has spent twenty-five years with Marriott International.

Hunter Hotels in Atlanta has appointed John Sturgess Managing Director. Previously, Sturgess was Corporate Senior Vice President of Development for Carlson Hotels Worldwide and had held various roles with Prime Hospitality, Doubletree Hotels and Richfield Hospitality.

Sergio Ortiz has been appointed Managing Director of the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio. He had previously served as General Manager at sister property the Driskill in Austin and Managing Director at the Lancaster in Houston in addition to President at Orion Hotels. 

Von de Luna has joined Kimpton�s Hotel Monaco Denver as General Manager. He was most recently at Kimpton�s Hotel Burnham in Chicago as General Manager. He had previously managed Kimpton�s Hotel Rouge and the Hotel Madera, both in Washington, DC.

James Adamson has been appointed General Manager of the Kimpton�s Hotel Helix. He was most recently the General Manager of Morrison House. 

Still with Kimpton, Christopher Cannon has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel George. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of the Hotel Palomar Washington, DC. 

Thomas Fraher has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Palomar Washington, DC. He was most recently the Rooms Division Manager at the Willard InterContinental.

Robert Hannigan has been promoted to General Manager of Morrison House, located in Old Town Alexandria. He was most recently the Assistant General Manager of the Hotel Monaco Alexandria. 

Jennifer Harris has been promoted to General Manager of the Hotel Madera, in Washington, DC. Previously, Harris held the title of Hotel Manager at the Hotel George.

Donte Johnson has been promoted to General Manager of the Topaz Hotel. He was most recently the Assistant General Manager at the Hotel Helix. 

Awilda Rivera has been named General Manager for the Costa d�Este Beach Resort in Florida. She had previously served as General Manager of Villas Caletón in the Dominican Republic and for the Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island.

Marriott International has also promoted Carl Berquist to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He will retain his role as the company�s Principal Accounting Officer. He was most recently the Executive Vice President Financial Information and Enterprise Risk Management.

Andrew Zephirin has been named General Manager of both the House and Tamarind Cove in Barbados. Previously, he had served as General Manager of the Cranes Resort and Residences, also in Barbados. Zephirin is also a former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey. 

Gary Avigne has been named Chief Operating Officer of the Woodstock Inn and Resort in Vermont. For the past three years, he had served as Asset Manager for the Woodstock Resort Corporation. 

Matthew La Vine has been named General Manager of Fess Parker�s Doubletree Resort Santa Barbara. He was most recently the General Manager at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples. Previously, he was the Hotel Manager at the (former) Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood (now the London West Hollywood) and Rooms Manager at the (former) St. Regis Los Angeles. 

The Renaissance Orlando Hotel at SeaWorld has named Bob Walsh General Manager. Walsh was most recently the General Manager of the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells.

Simeon Miranda is named General Manager of the Marriott Anaheim Suites. He was most recently the Resident Manager of the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Jonathan Reynolds has worked with CampbellGray Hotels for over nine years, now becoming the Resort Manager at Carlisle Bay in Antigua. Previously, he was the Hotel Manager at the Goodwood Park Hotel in West Sussex

Sage Hospitality has selected Robert Cartwright to be the new General Manager of Chicago�s Blackstone, a Renaissance Hotel. Most recently, Cartwright served as General Manager of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. At the Blackstone, he takes over from opening General Manager Shakir Hussain.

Antonio Alvarez returns to Buenos Aires to take over from Christophe Lorvo as General Manager for the Palacio Duhau-Park Hyatt. He had previously served as Director of Operations at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires before taking on his most recent role as General Manager of the Park Hyatt Mendoza. 

Daniel Dolatre moves to Argentina to take over as General Manager at the Park Hyatt Mendoza. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Acapulco, after joining the resort as Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Manila.

Scott Blakeslee has moved to the Palms Place Hotel in the Palms Las Vegas as Vice President and Assistant General Manager. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences, also in Las Vegas. Blakeslee previously served in various sales and marketing management positions for the St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach, the Carmel Valley Ranch, and the Venetian.

Laurent Fraticelli is moving to New York to take over from Mark Somen at Soho House as Director of Operations USA. He was most recently with Hospitality by Palisades as Executive Vice President. Fraticelli also served five years with HotelsAB as General Manager for the Standard Miami, the Standard Downtown Los Angeles, and the Standard Hollywood.

Tom Scaramellino has been appointed Director of Operations at the US Grant in San Diego. Most recently, he served as Director of Food and Beverage for the Westin Mission Hills Resort and Spa. At the US Grant, he replaces Victor Barothy-Langer, who has left the company.

Lance Thompson has taken on the role of Director of Resort Operations for Timbers Resorts. He was most recently the Vice President of Operations for PlumpJack. He had previously served in leadership roles with Calistoga Ranch, Esperanza Resort and CordeValle, all parts of Auberge Resorts.

The Abbey Resort and Avani Spa has appointed Michael Lucero Director of Operations. He was most recently serving as General Manager and Regional Vice President with House of Blues. He had previously held the position of Director of Food and Beverage at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa and various positions for the Mission Point Resort and at the Broadmoor.

The Starwood Capital Group has named John McCarthy Global Head of Asset Management. McCarthy was most recently the Global Co-Head of Asset Management for Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity. He previously served in leading roles at O�Connor Capital Partners, and GE Capital.

Melissa Fitzgerald has been named Regional Director of Finance for Loews Hotels, based in San Diego, adding to her current position as Controller for the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. She had previously served as Controller for the Madison in Washington, DC, the Loews New Orleans, and the (former) Loews House of Blues in Chicago.

Lorraine McInnes has transferred as Director of Finance to the Four Seasons Palm Beach. She was most recently at the Four Seasons Miami, where she was opening Director of Finance. She has been with the company in finance roles for nearly seventeen years at the Inn on the Park in Toronto, the Four Seasons Philadelphia, the Four Seasons Singapore and at the Four Seasons Hualalai.

Art Davis takes over from McInnes as Director of Finance at the Four Seasons Miami. Davis has been with the company for over twenty years, most recently as Director of Finance at the Four Seasons Maldives. He had previously overseen the finance departments at the Four Seasons Whistler and the Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi.

Orient-Express Hotels has named Phillip Gesue Director, Global Real Estate. Gesue joined from Time Equities where he was the Director of Acquisitions and Development. 

Carlson has appointed Gregory Byrnes Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. Most recently, Byrnes served as Managing Director in the global investment banking group at Deutsche Bank.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has named Kevin Regan Regional Vice President of Operations. He was most recently a Senior Vice President of Operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has named John Green a Regional Vice President of Operations. He was most recently Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Eastern Operations for Pyramid Hotel Group.

Cornell grad Daryl Ansel has been appointed Director of Food Services for UCLA Housing and Hospitality Services. He is a former Chief Financial Officer of the SBE Restaurant Group, the Starr Restaurant Organization and Grill Concepts.

Brian Sommer has joined the Four Seasons Palm Beach as Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Philipp Real. Sommer was most recently in the same position for the Four Seasons Nevis. He had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Dallas.

Joaquim Lemos da Costa has joined Las Ventanas al Paraiso as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past year, he had been in Portugal at the Aquapura Hotel Villas and Spa as Food and Beverage Manager. He had previously served in food and beverage roles for Altabella Hotels and the Four Seasons Lisbon.

Aptly named Frédéric Cappello has joined the Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the One&Only Palmilla. He had previously served in food and beverage positions with Paraiso de la Bonita and the Fiesta Americana Condesa.

Antonio Recillas has joined the Mandarin Oriental Miami as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Naples Grande. He had previously served in food and beverage positions for the Daufuskie Island Resort, the Hotel 71 Chicago and L'Auberge de Sedona.

Mark French has joined the Atlantis Bahamas as Vice President of Food and Beverage. He joins former colleague, Atlantis President Jean Cohen whom he worked with at Marriott International in his most recent position as Director of International Food and Beverage.

Daniel Braun has joined the Castle Inn and Resort in Rhode Island as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in food and beverage roles for the Grand Del Mar Resort, the Four Seasons Aviara and the Four Seasons Palm Beach.

Claude Boudoux has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Sheraton Albuquerque. He was most recently a Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations for the Norwegian Cruise Line. He had previously served in many senior food and beverage management positions with the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino and the Hilton Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas, in addition to Regent International Hotels in Hong Kong.

The Renaissance Pittsburgh has named Matthew Watson Director of Food and Beverage. He previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Omni Jacksonville.

Mark Eberwein has joined the Sheraton Gateway in Los Angeles as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past thirteen years, he had been at San Diego�s Rancho Bernardo Inn, most recently as Director of Food and Beverage.

Alliance Hospitality Management has named Andrew Broad Senior Vice President of Development. He was most recently a Senior Vice President specializing in hotel real estate transactions for HREC Investment Advisors.

Robert Speck has taken over for Rob Scypinski as Area Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Hotels, based in San Diego. Speck was most recently the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company. Donovan Hanson who was previously the Director of Sales at the San Diego Hilton has taken over from Speck.

David Renker has joined La Quinta as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently with Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Los Angeles as Vice President Sales and Marketing. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for Destination Hotels and Resorts and the Westin St. Francis.

Leading Hotels of the World has named Bernard Agache Senior Vice President of Membership, based in New York. He was previously the Senior Vice President of Operations for Westmont Hospitality, following a long career with Westin in Montreal, Toronto, Maui, Los Angeles and Singapore, interrupted by a brief hiatus as General Manager of the Kahala Mandarin Oriental.

Melissa Brown has joined the Trump Hotel Collection in New York as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently based on the West Coast for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, serving in marketing positions for the Luxury Brands Group and St. Regis Hotels.

Bob Buttaro has joined La Quinta as Director of Marketing Communication. He had previously served in various marketing positions for M2M Strategies and S&P Destination Properties.

Interstate Hotels & Resorts of México has named Alex de la Garza Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. He was previously corporate Director of Sales and Marketing at the Villa Group.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has named Wayne Susser Vice President of Brand Operations. He was most recently Senior Director of International Brand Support for Doubletree Hotels.

Cristina Romero-Peri has joined the Capella Pedregal Resort in Cabo San Lucas as Director of Sales and Marketing. She had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Las Ventanas al Paraiso and the One&Only Palmilla and was most recently the Area Director of Sales, Mexico for the Kor Group.

Dennis Hernandez has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Standard, Downtown Los Angeles. He had previously served in various sales and marketing roles for the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, the Sofitel Los Angeles, and the Mondrian/Clift Hotels. 

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has named Tim Rector Vice President of Resort Sales. He was most recently Area Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Barry Podob has returned to Le Parc Suites in West Hollywood as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was previously in the same position, before taking on his most recent role of Director of Sales for the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens in Los Angeles.

Scott Becque has joined the Glen Cove Mansion as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Columbia Sussex in Kentucky. Previously, he had overseen sales and marketing for New Castle Hotels.

Brian Morris has been named Director of Sales and Marketing of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront. Morris has been with Hyatt since 1989, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. He had previously served in sales positions for the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, the Grand Hyatt Seattle and the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

Jolie Quest Hotels and Resorts has named Josh Hinks Director of Sales. He was previously the Assistant Director of Sales for the Crowne Plaza Ventura.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has named Bill Scanlon Senior Vice President of Sales. He was most recently President of hospitality consulting firm Strategic Solution Partners.

Brandon Hendricks has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin Westminster in Colorado. Hendricks was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Houston.

The Hyatt Regency Boston has appointed Chris Giovanetti Director of Sales and Marketing. He has been with Hyatt for more than eleven years overseeing sales and marketing at Boston's Hyatt Harborside and, most recently, the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

Darrick Eman has rejoined Orient Express Hotels based in New York, as Director of Sales and Marketing for La Samanna in St. Martin. He was previously the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Orient-Express Peru and most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius.

The W Fort Lauderdale has named Christopher Tompkins Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently working for Hilton Hotels, launching the Gallery One Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Previously, he had worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Carlson Hotels, and Sitmar/Princess Cruises.

Steve Spivak has joined the Loews Atlanta as Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Phoenix and the Sheraton Tyson�s Corner.

John Branciforte has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate. Previously, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas near Dallas. 

In San Diego, the US Grant Hotel has named Russ Mitchell Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for both the Westin South Coast Plaza and the Westin Gaslamp Quarter. He had previously held positions for the Sheraton Suites San Diego, the (former) Westin Century Plaza Hotel & Spa and the Westin Santa Clara.

Greg Leinweber has been appointed Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hotel Monaco Washington, DC and the Hotel George. He was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at the MGM Grand Detroit.

Barbara Schmaelzle has joined the Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa as Director of Sales and Marketing. Schmaelzle was previously the President of Align Hospitality Services and had spent more than seventeen years with Marriott International, most recently as Market Director for their Caribbean and Mexico Resorts.

Nathalie Urban has joined the Presidente InterContinental Mexico City as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Mar Menor Golf Resort & Spa, and InterContinental La Torre Golf Resort, both in Murcia, Spain.

Mark Adams has joined the Beverly Hilton as Director of Sales. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales for the Long Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has appointed Dawn Benedict Director of Sales, Group. She was most recently serving as Senior Sales Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.

The Solis Palmyra Resort & Spa, scheduled to open in June in Jamaica, has named Sharon Blazer Senior Sales Manager. Blazer was previously the Director of Sales for the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort Jamaica.

John Atkisson has been named National Group Sales Manager at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites. He was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sirata Beach Resort and Conference Center.

Melisa Novick has joined Como Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Sales-The Americas. She was previously overseeing sales and marketing at the Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York and, most recently, at the Lodge at Woodloch. 

Wyndham Hotel Group has appointed Cary Broussard Vice President of Communications. She was most recently with Meeting Professionals International in Dallas as Vice President of Global Marketing and Brand Strategies.

Stephanie Edens has joined Wolfgang Puck Catering as Director of Catering. She was most recently the President of Elements in Los Angeles. She previously spent ten years with the Patina Group in various roles including Vice President, Catering and Special Events Director.

Wyndham Hotel Group has appointed Linda Kent Senior Vice President Electronic Distribution. For the past eight years, she had been with Starwood Hotels & Resorts as Vice President Electronic Distribution.

Jolie Quest Hotels and Resorts has named Jayne Betts Director of Revenue Management. She was previously Director of Revenue Management at the Wilshire Plaza in Los Angeles.

Stefan Kauth has joined the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans as Executive Chef. He was most recently in the same position at the Renaissance Las Vegas. He had previously served as Executive Chef for the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove and the Stirling Club, Las Vegas, as well as Chef de Cuisine for the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach. The Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria is the former Fairmont New Orleans.

Yosuke Suga has moved to L�Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Taipei as Executive Chef. Until recently, he was in the same position at L�Atelier de Joel Robuchon in the Four Seasons New York.

Eric Hara has moved over to the Oak Room at the Plaza as Executive Chef. He was most recently at Fishtail by David Burke as Executive Chef. He had previously served in culinary positions at David Burke and Donatella, Tao and the River Café. At the Oak Room, he takes over from Joel Antunes.

John Tesar has relocated to New York to take over for Hara as Executive Chef at Fishtail by David Burke. For the past year, he had been at the Mansion on Turtle Creek as Executive Chef. He had previously served as Executive Chef of rm restaurant at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Mirko Paderno has joined Soho House as Executive Chef in their new venture in West Hollywood, Cecconi�s. He had previously run kitchens at All�Angelo and Dolce Enoteca, both in Los Angeles. Paderno started his US career as Executive Chef of  the defunct Primi in Los Angeles.

Walter Manzke is now at Church and State in Los Angeles as Executive Chef. He was previously one of the many holding the Executive Chef position for Joe Pytka�s Bastide.

Oliver Beckert has moved to the Four Seasons Vancouver as Executive Chef. For the past four years, he had been the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Lanai. He had previously served at the Four Seasons Miami as Executive Sous Chef.

Frederick Bisaillon has rejoined the White Elephant on Nantucket as Executive Chef. He was previously a Senior Chef de Partie for the resort, before taking on culinary roles at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla and the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda. He was most recently with Cable Beach Resorts in Nassau as Executive Chef.

Laurent Méchin has joined the St. Julian Hotel and Spa in Boulder as Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole as Executive Sous Chef, after serving as Senior Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. He had previously held various culinary positions at the former Four Seasons Newport Beach, and the former Sutton Place, also in Newport Beach.

Peter Csikos has been appointed Executive Chef for the Heldrich Hotel & Spa. Csikos was previously both Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef at the Warwick in New York. In addition, he had served as Executive Chef at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake and the Sheraton Crossroads Mahwah, both in New Jersey.

Brad Manchester has joined the Wit in Chicago as Executive Chef. He was most recently in the same position at the Hotel Zaza in Dallas.

Aaron Neeley steps in for Manchester to take over as Executive Chef at the Hotel Zaza Dallas. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef for the property.

In Miami, Greg Lopez has been named Executive Chef of the Hotel Victor's Vix restaurant. He was most recently with the Highlands Inn in Carmel and had previously served in various culinary positions for the Resort at Squaw Creek, Auberge du Soleil and Emandal - A Farm on a River in Mendocino County.

Francisco Aceves has been appointed Executive Chef at the Stonewall Resort in West Virginia. He was most recently the Banquet Chef for La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa.

Paul Wade has joined the Stone House in Rhode Island as Executive Chef. He was most recently in the same position at the now shuttered Columbia Gorge Hotel in Oregon. He had previously served as Executive Chef at the Inn at Palmetto Bluffs, the Little Nell and the Peaks Resort.

The Windsor Court New Orleans has appointed Drew Dzejak Executive Chef. He was most recently with sister property Charleston Place in South Carolina as Chef de Cuisine.

The Westin St. Maarten has appointed John Bakker Executive Chef. He had previously served in culinary positions with the Westin Casuarina Grand Cayman, and the White Barn Inn.

La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad has appointed Gina Rodriguez Chef de Cuisine of the BlueFire Grill. Rodriguez comes from the Ventana Room at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. 

Patrick Lassaque has move to the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne as Executive Pastry Chef. He was most recently in the same position for the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. He had previously overseen the pastry department for the Mandarin Oriental Miami, the Westin Diplomat Resort and the Loews Miami.

Ed Curry has moved up to St. Helena joining Hall Wines as Vice President of Consumer Operations and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the (former) Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel now run by Langham. He had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey.

Jason Alexander has joined Meteor Vineyard as General Manager. He had been the Vice President of Wine Acquisitions of Vintrust in San Francisco since 2007. He was for many years the Sommelier and Wine Director at Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco and Cyrus Restaurant in Healdsburg.

David Bodette has joined the Fairfax at Embassy Row in Washington, DC as Assistant General Manager. He was most recently at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He had previously overseen food and beverage at the (former) Ritz-Carlton Boston, the Langham Boston and Auberge du Soleil.

The Four Seasons Westlake has promoted Ronald Nagy to Director of Rooms. He joined the resort in pre-opening in 2006 as Front Office Manager then moved into his most recent role as Assistant Director of Rooms. He had previously served in various rooms positions for the Four Seasons Hualalai and the Four Seasons Hampshire.

Sharon Ogawa has joined the Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa as Spa Director. She most recently opened the Golden Door Spa at the Naples Grand Resort and Club and Soothe Spa at Rose Hall Resort and Spa in Jamaica.

Melanie Silver has joined the Salish Lodge and Spa as Spa Director. She was most recently overseeing the spa for the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.

Tony McHale has joined the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London as General Manager. He was most recently at Keswick Hall Club and Estate for Orient Express as General Manager. He had previously served as General Manager for the Windsor Court Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air. 

MPS Puri has created his own management company Nira Hotels and Resorts. He had previously served as Senior Vice President-The Americas for GHM Hotels and Resorts, Group General Manager of Head Office Operations for Peninsula Hotels and Senior Vice President Operations for Raffles Holdings.

Long time Dorchester man, Ricci Obertelli, has joined Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire as Deputy Chairman. He leaves the Dorchester Group after joining the Dorchester Hotel in London in 1986. He was named Chief Operations Officer for the group in 1997 and was promoted to his most recent position as Global Development Director in 2004.

Adrian Constant has been named Chief Executive Officer to run La Manga Club resort in Spain. He was previously in a similar position with KSL International. He was formerly the Vice President for Orient Express Hotels Europe, the Regional Manager for Le Méridien Brazil and the General Manager of Le Méridien Copacabana.

Katie Benson has been promoted to the newly created position of Regional Vice President � Europe and North America, for Langham Hotels International and will become Managing Director of the Langham London. She had previously served as Managing Director of the Langham, Hong Kong, and the Langham, Melbourne.

Jean-Luc Cousty has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Lutétia in Paris. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at Le Méridien Etoile, after serving as Executive Director of Food and Beverage at the Lutétia, which he originally joined in 1990 as Director of Finance.

Olivier Rochefort has been appointed General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, inTallinn, Estonia. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager-Director of Operations at the Radisson SAS Beijing.

The Rezidor Hotel Group has named Hans Oldenburger Regional Director to head up both the Radisson Blu and Park Inn brands in Ireland. Since 2003, he had served as Regional Director, Benelux, for Radisson SAS Hotels. He had previously held the position of General Manager at the Radisson SAS Schwarzer Bock Hotel Wiesbaden and General Manager at the Radisson SAS Hotel Düsseldorf.

Willem van der Zee takes over from Oldenburger with Rezidor as District Director, Benelux, and will continue as General Manager of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel Brussels. He had previously served as General Manager of the Radisson SAS Balmoral Hotel and Spa in Belgium.

Arabella Hospitality has named Wolfgang Neumann Chief Executive Officer, to succeed Stefan Schörghuber, who passed away in November. Neumann had previously served as President of Hilton United Kingdom and Ireland and President of Hilton Europe.

Jacques Stern has been promoted to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Accor Group. Since 2006, Stern has held the titles of Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President for the company.

Pascal Billard has joined the Plaza-Athénée Paris as Deputy Manager, taking over from Guy Bertaud, who is now the General Manager of the Hotel Vendôme InterContinental Beirut. For the past two years, Billard had served as Chief Operating Officer for the Novecento Group in Miami. He had previously served in senior food and beverage management roles for China Grill Management, the Hôtel de Crillon and the Carlton Casino in Cannes.

David Silver has joined Dukes in London, as General Manager. He was most recently the Director of Rooms at the Andaz Liverpool Street.

Stephan Li has joined the Shangri-La Paris as Director of Finance. He was most recently in the UAE as Finance Manager for Essque Hotels and Resorts. This will be a return to Paris after previously serving as Assistant Director of Finance at the Westin Paris and the InterContinental Paris.

Edwin Kramer has joined CampbellGray Hotels in London as Corporate Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage for the Four Seasons London and the Four Seasons Damascus.

Alexander Lahmer has moved to Istanbul to join the Ciragan Palace Hotel Kempinski as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently at the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in various food and beverage roles for Swissôtel in Singapore and Berlin.

Richard Leuenberger has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Badrutt's Palace Hotel. For the past thirteen years, he had been in various positions with Four Seasons in Aviara, New York and Paris.

Stéphane de Robien has joined Garrigae Resorts in France as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was previously the General Manager of the Chateau de Camiole in the South of France, following several years at the Hotel Négresco in Nice as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Marriott International has named Theo Ocks Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Western Europe. He was previously a Cluster Director of Marketing in Jakarta and previously the Country Director of Sales and Marketing for Accor in Indonesia.

Vicky Varfis is the new Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Eastern Europe for Marriott International. She was most recently the Deputy General Manager at the Elounda SA Resort & Spa on the island of Crete. She had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino and Athens Ledra Marriott Hotel. 

Marriott International has also appointed Iris Baugatz Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Central Europe. She was most recently overseeing sales and marketing for the Hamburg Marriott Hotel.

Philippe Labbé is moving to Paris to be the Executive Chef at the Shangri-La Paris due to open next year. He was most recently running the kitchen at Le Château de la Chèvre d'Or in Eze. Labbé is also a former Executive Chef from the Château de Bagnols.

Alain Llorca is now in Juan les Pins, overseeing the kitchens of the Hôtel Belles Rives and the Hôtel Juana . This will be a return for Llorca who began his culinary career at the Juana. His most recent stint was taking over the kitchen at Le Moulin de Mougins after long time chef Roger Vergé retired.

Taking over from Llorca at Le Moulin de Mougins is Sébastien Chambru. Trained by Paul Bocuse, he was recently the Chef of Twenty One, the restaurant of the Tokyo Hilton, prior to becoming the Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva.

David Hammond has been named Head Chef at Hunstrete House near Bath replacing Matthew Lord. He was most recently the Sous Chef at Ston Easton Park.

Sébastien Broda has been named Executive Chef at the Grand Hotel in Cannes. He was recently the chef at L�Auberge du Jarrier in nearby Biot, after working under Christian Willer at the Palme d�Or at the Hotel Martinez.

Pastry Chef Jérome Le Teuff is now at Stéphane Glacier in Paris as Chef Instructor. For the past seven years, he had been with Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Resorts, most recently at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, as Executive Pastry Chef. He has previously held pastry positions for the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, the Hotel Arts Barcelona, and the Four Seasons Dublin.

Stefan Simkovics has moved to the position of General Manager of the soon-to-open Four Seasons Beirut. He was most recently the General Manager of the Four Seasons Beijing, which has a delayed opening. Simkovics had previously held various leadership roles for the company in Berlin, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Chicago. 

The Rezidor Hotel Group has named Tom Flanagan Regional Director for Russia, CIS, Baltics, Turkey, Azerbaijan and China. He was most recently Rezidor's District Director for Turkey, Azerbaijan and China.

Andy Conn has been named General Manager of the Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa. He was most recently the General Manager of the Fancourt on the Garden Route in South Africa.

The Rezidor Hotel Group has named Michel Stalport Area Vice President for Southern Europe and Africa. He was most recently Rezidor's Area Vice President for Russia, CIS, Baltics, Turkey, Azerbaijan and China.

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Haitham Mattar Commercial Director, Near East, in addition to the role of Area General Manager-Lebanon based in Beirut. He was most recently based in Dubai for the company as Director of Marketing Middle East.

Guy Bertaud has moved to Beirut to join the Hotel Vendôme InterContinental as General Manager. He was most recently the Deputy Manager for the Plaza-Athénée Paris. He had previously served in various roles for the Hotel Prince de Galles, the Royal Méridien, and the InterContinental Paris.

Hector de Galard has been appointed General Manager of Le Gray for CampbellGray Hotels, slated to open in Beirut in late spring. He was previously the General Manager at the One&Only Kanuhura, the One&Only Le Touessrok, and the One&Only Saratoga.

Jonathan Soper has been named General Manager for the Mövenpick Resort and Spa Sharm El Sheik. He was most recently at the InterContinental Bucharest as General Manager. He had previously served as General Manager of the Ceylan InterContinental Istanbul.

Christoph Franzen has moved over to the Grand Hyatt Muscat as General Manager. He was most recently serving as Executive Assistant Manager for the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

Robyn Pontynen has moved over to manage Orient-Express�s Khawi River Lodge in Botswana. For the past six years, she had been the General Manager of the Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa in Australia.

Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina in Dubai has appointed Peter Alatsas Complex General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Westin Bund Centre in Shanghai.

The Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort and Spa Resort has appointed Rachid Assoudi Executive Assistant Manager. His most recent stints include Director of Food and Beverage at the Mövenpick Al Bida'a Hotel & Resort and the Mövenpick Resort Al Nawras.

Marta Reus has joined the Fairmont Abu Dhabi Creek as Director of Human Resources. She was most recently at the Plaza New York as Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Vanessa Waldow has been named Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hotel JAL Tower Dubai and Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort and Spa. She had previously served as Director of Sales at the Four Points by Sheraton Complex in Dubai.

Garry Hollihead has been appointed Executive Chef of Grosvenor House Dubai. He had previously held culinary positions for the Grosvenor House London and the Savoy in addition to L'Escargot and Les Saveurs restaurants, also in London.
