| Brussels, July 2005 -- Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts, the
first-class, full-service international brand of Rezidor SAS Hospitality,
announces the opening of the new 37 million Euro (approx. $45 million U.S.)
129-room Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa Cork, Ireland. This hotel is
the ninth Radisson SAS in Ireland.
The Radisson SAS is the only hotel in Cork City to contain a full-service spa. The Retreat Spa & Fitness Center features nine treatment rooms offering a range of luxurious Elemis treatments, a hydrotherapy pool incorporating massage seats and jets, bubble seats, geysers and loungers, a relaxation suite and gym featuring Precor equipment. The facility also features a children�s pool. The Island Grillroom Restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere for dinner, while the hotel bar offers a wide assortment of drinks and cocktails. The hotel�s conference facilities include 11 meeting rooms, a business center and a ballroom accommodating up to 400 guests. All 145 staff members have been inducted into the �Yes I Can� service culture � the international standard delivered by all Radisson SAS staff in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
