China’s second largest hotel management group signs
multi-year agreement for website and GDS connectivity

MELBOURNE (August 2, 2005) – TravelCLICK, through a partnership with Beijing Great Consulting Co., Ltd. (BGCC), has reached a multi-year agreement with BTG-Jianguo Hotels and Resorts to provide GDS and website connectivity via the iHotelier central reservation system.  Since partnering with TravelCLICK in February 2005, BGCC has contracted over 185 hotels throughout China.  BGCC will provide BTG-Jianguo and other iHotelier clients in the region ongoing customer service and support.

iHotelier enables hotels to maximize their performance in electronic channels by distributing rates and inventory to the Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Internet travel sites and hotel property websites.  iHotelier offers next generation seamless connectivity to the GDS’, enabling travel agents to view rates and availability in real-time.  Its state-of-the-art OneScreen booking engine is the first travel industry reservation software application developed using Macromedia FLASH technology.

“China is a key market with tremendous potential for TravelCLICK and BGCC,” said Jan Tissera, President of TravelCLICK International.  “We are very pleased with the results to date and look forward to expanding our portfolio in the region.”

BTG-Jianguo selected iHotelier for its next generation seamless connectivity, its user-friendly navigation and ease in which the guest can compare rates and room types online.  To date, 20 BTG-Jianguo hotels are utilizing the iHotelier system for website and GDS reservations.

“We are very pleased to implement the iHotelier system, which enables our hotels to provide rates and inventory to multiple distribution channels globally,” said Zhang Rungang, President of BTG-Jianguo.  “More importantly, the OneScreen booking engine will support the BTG-Jianguo website with both Chinese and English language capabilities helping us optimize brand awareness.”
