Kevin T. Kelly Named President of Delaware
North Companies Parks & Resorts

.

BUFFALO, NY, AUGUST 2, 2005 Delaware North Companies has named Kevin T. Kelly, president of its Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts business.  Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts is one of the fastest growing businesses within Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service.  The announcement was made by Dennis Szefel, group president for Delaware North Companies hospitality operations.

Kelly, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of hospitality, food service and retail experience, most recently held the position of regional vice president for Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, overseeing operations at Yosemite and Sequoia national parks, along with California state park operations and destination resorts owned and managed by the company.

Szefel, to whom Kelly will report, discussed Kelly's management expertise. "Kevin is well respected in the hospitality industry, and is known for his operational expertise. In addition, he fully embraces the awesome responsibility that we have as a company to improve upon the special places that have been entrusted to our care. I expect great things for our Parks & Resorts operations with Kevin at the helm."

Since Kelly joined the company in 1996, he has been part of the leadership team that has helped the company experience unprecedented growth, expand visitor services, and grow the company's hotel ownership and hospitality management portfolio at more than a dozen world class locations.

Kelly joined the company in 1996 as director of retail at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Cape Canaveral, Fla.  He later became director of retail for the company's operations at Yosemite National Park.

Kelly quickly advanced within the Yosemite operations, first as vice president of operations then as chief operating officer.  Kelly was responsible for all strategic direction, policies, management and financial performance for the biggest account in the U.S. National Park Service. In November 2003, Kelly was promoted to his current position of vice president of the western region.

Before joining Delaware North Companies, Kelly managed numerous operations with Aramark, including Muir Woods National Monument, Hearst Castle and Pikes Peak.  Kelly is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
