American Hotel & Lodging Association Recognizes
Glorietta Bay Inn with Two Achievement Awards

Best Guest Relations in the U.S. and 
Best Community Service in the U.S.

 
Coronado, CA, May 4, 2005 � Glorietta Bay Inn announced today that it has won two national awards. Glorietta Bay Inn was honored with the 39th Annual �Stars of the Industry� Achievement Awards for Guest Relations and Community Service for properties with 150 rooms or less by the American Hotel & Lodging Association and Diners Club International.
 
This is the inn�s fourth win for guest relations in the past five years. It was Glorietta Bay Inn�s first entry and win in the community service category.

�Together, the awards demonstrate the inn�s continued commitment to serving guests and the community,� said Camille Gustafson, director of marketing and sales.

In the awards presentation, the American Hotel and Lodging Association noted Glorietta Bay Inn�s donations of to nonprofit organizations as well as the networking events the hotel hosted for local organizations. The AH&LA highlighted the inn�s 42 percent of business that comes from returning guests

The awards were presented on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. General manager Kim Akers and front desk manager Carl Holmes accepted the awards on behalf of the inn.
