Glorietta Bay Inn with Two Achievement Awards - Best Guest Relations in the U.S. and Best Community Service in the U.S. |
Coronado, CA, May 4, 2005 Glorietta Bay Inn announced today that
it has won two national awards. Glorietta Bay Inn was honored with the
39th Annual Stars of the Industry Achievement Awards for Guest Relations
and Community Service for properties with 150 rooms or less by the American
Hotel & Lodging Association and Diners Club International.
The magic of our award-winning inn is our people. Each guest associate demonstrates an elevated sense of service and passion for the word Yes. We challenge ourselves to provide genuine hospitality paired with creative, unexpected details, catering to the individual -- something that an inn our size can provide, said Kim Akers, general manager. Our return guests appreciate our loyal and long-standing staff, who warmly greet them visit after visit. Their comments assist us in our ongoing communications, with motivation and recognition as key elements. We are so grateful for our extended family both internal and external, added Akers. The awards were presented on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. General manager Kim Akers and front desk manager Carl Holmes accepted the awards on behalf of the inn. Overlooking Coronados scenic Glorietta Bay, Glorietta Bay Inn, combines old-world charm with contemporary comfort. Built in 1908 as the home of "Sugar Baron" John D.
