to announce the appointment of Ms. Clee Varon to the position of Director
of Sales and Marketing effective July 1, 2005.
Ms. Varon is an experienced sales and marketing professional with an 18-year background in the Canadian hotel and resort industry as part of the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts group. She leaves Fairmont after leading the team at Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta as Director of Sales and Marketing for the past eight years. "Deerhurst Resort has a proven reputation as one of the top leisure and meeting destinations in Canada and I'm very excited to be joining the team," said Varon, who played a key role in the recent expansion of rooms and meeting space at Chateau Lake Louise.
