$2.8 in Renovations |
.
March 2005 - "Navy Lodges Atsugi and Yokosuka will receive $2.8 million
in renovations during 2005," said Ron Tolson, Regional Manager, Navy Lodge
Program. "Navy Lodges are not supported by tax dollars. Money
used to pay for these renovations come from the operation. So, the
room rates we charge allow us to continue to renovate our Navy Lodges on
a routine basis to ensure our guests have comfortable and modern accommodations."
Both Navy Lodges are air conditioned, have cable TV, a video cassette player, direct-dial telephone service, a kitchenette complete with microwave and utensils, housekeeping service, vending machines and a guest laundry. All Navy Lodges are handicapped accessible and non-smoking. Free local calls, in-room coffee, newspapers as well as convenient on-base parking and interconnecting rooms are a few of the amenities found at the Navy Lodge. To receive a Navy Lodge directory or to make a reservation, call toll free in Japan 00531-11-3313 or 1-800-NAVY-INN, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or through our web site at www.navy-lodge.com. Once you make a reservation, you cannot be bumped from your room. Reservation and room assignments are accepted on an as-received basis without regard to rank, rate or time of reservation. |
