Maureen O’Hanlon Named Partner of Firm
|BOSTON, MA (September 27, 2004) - The Prism Partnership, a Boston-based
consulting firm that specializes in the hospitality and travel industries,
has announced that Maureen O’Hanlon has joined the firm as a Partner.
In her position she will help oversee Prism’s marketing and loyalty practices,
and support the group’s overall business development efforts.
O’Hanlon is a 25-year veteran in the hospitality sales and marketing area who until recently had served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Prime Hospitality Corp. (NYSE: PDQ) where she oversaw all of the marketing, branding, promotions, customer relationship management, loyalty program, e-commerce activities, national sales, public relations and central reservations function for over 250 hotels. Prior to that she spent nearly 16 years with Carlson Companies where she was Senior Vice President of the Loyalty Division of Carlson Marketing Group. She also served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Sales of Radisson Hotels where she was responsible for introducing numerous programs, including the highly successful Worldwide Hospitality Program and the “Look to Book” initiatives.
Her numerous accomplishments have garnered her much recognition including four consecutive years being selected as one of the most powerful women in the travel industry by Travel Agent Magazine; being called one of the 25 most influential travel industry executives by Tour and Travel News; and receiving the Atlas Award for Marketing from the Association of Travel Marketing Executives. O’Hanlon is currently serving a two-year term as Chair of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), which is the world’s largest international association for sales and marketing professionals with over 7000 members.
At Prism, O’Hanlon joins a seasoned group of executives that includes Bill Watson, who was formerly the COO of Best Western; Mark Haley, who held senior technology positions with a number of major companies including Sheraton; Gary Leopold, the President and CEO of ISM; Elaine Hendricks, formerly the head of research and strategic planning for Best Western; and Trish Donohoe, who was the Director of Telecommunications for Sheraton. The firm has had extensive experience working in the areas of business and strategic planning, marketing and positioning, enterprise technology and distribution solutions, customer relationship management, research and telecommunications for such clients as Harley-Davidson, Sabre, Affinia Hotels, Sheraton, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Passkey Inc., Best Western International, RE/MAX of California and Hawaii, Orange County Tourism Council and many more.
