Craig W. Johnson Appointed General Manager for
The Mansion on Forsyth Park and historic
Kehoe House, Savannah, Geogia

Orlando,FL/Savannah, GA � (May 22, 2004) � The Kessler Collection is pleased to announce Craig W. Johnson as General Manager for The Mansion on Forsyth Park and historic Kehoe House.  His responsibilities will include overseeing all operations of the 126-room luxury hotel and the 13-room historic inn.  The Kehoe House is currently open; however The Mansion on Forsyth Park is slated to open February 2005.

Craig brings over 34 years of hospitality experience.  He was most recently with the Davidson Hotel Company where he was the General Manager for the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza Hotel in Kansas City, MO.  Prior to working for the Davidson Hotel Company, Craig was with Shell Hospitality Group in Northbrook, IL where he served as Corporate Vice President.  He was in charge of seven (7) full-service Hotels/Resorts with golf facilities and 34 time share and condominium developments. 

Mr. Johnson was also with the Abbey Group of Hotels - Anvan Corporation in Lake Geneva, WI, where he was the Regional Director of Operations for three resorts; The Abbey and Fontana Spa, Interlaken Resort and Spa, and the Lake Lawn Lodge and Country Club. 

In addition, he was with the Marriott Corporation in Washington, D.C. for 19
years.  During his tenure with Marriott, he served in a variety of roles.  He began his career as banquet set-up, bellman and front desk clerk before being promoted to engineering supervisor then to pre-opening project manager and director of engineering services along with numerous other positions before becoming Resident Manager and then General Manager.

Craig is a private pilot and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He along with his wife Rebecca, volunteer much of their time to local charities and organizations; they plan to live in the Savannah community.

poise to this position.�

The Kehoe House, located across from Columbia Square, is a 15,000-square-foot mansion originally built in 1892 and is constructed of red brick, terra cotta moldings and iron.  Eighteen fireplaces appoint the interior, with high ceilings, intricate moldings, and hardwood, pine floors throughout the property.  It also has a modern elevator servicing all floors, a double parlor, music room, formal dinning room, unique artwork, antique mirrors, wireless high-speed Internet access, Grand Bohemian Gallery and a top floor 2,000-square-foot meeting room. 

Scheduled to open February 2005, the chic and luxurious Mansion on Forsyth Park will be a 126 room hotel including 11 suites.  The original, historic, 18,000-square-foot Mansion will be restored for the 700 Drayton Restaurant and Lounge, culinary cooking school, and Grand Bohemian Art Gallery.  A conforming four-story building is being added for the hotel guestrooms, Poseidon Spa and Fitness Center, and 8,431-square-feet of meeting space.

The Kehoe House and the Mansion on Forsyth Park share the legendary name and refined standards of Richard C. Kessler�s hotel collection.
