Starwood Opens 13th Property in New York City, the
158-room Four Points By Sheraton Hotel
in the Chelsea District

March 2004 - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT), the largest hotel operator in Manhattan, has opened its first mid-priced property in New York City - the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea. The newly built 158-room hotel is located in the fashionable Chelsea district of Manhattan, known for its multitude of galleries, eclectic nightlife, outstanding restaurants and shopping. The hotel is owned by Chelsea Grand, LLC and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
 
Located on the south side of West 25th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, the 22-story, 158-room, Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea features a traditional brick and stucco exterior with a chic vintage sport interior and all of the quality guest services and amenities of the Four Points by Sheraton brand. The hotel features two suites on the 22nd floor that offer commanding views of the midtown Manhattan skyline. Chelsea is well known for its art galleries, designers,

restaurants, bars and lounges. The hotel is located within a 11/2 mile radius of almost every major business sector in New York and is near FIT (Fashion Institute and Technology), the fur district, the toy and gift district and the flower district.
