Prime Hospitality Converts Two Radisson Branded Hotels
to Prime Hotels & Resorts; Plans to Convert 12
Wyndham Hotels Later this Year

FAIRFIELD, N.J., March 3, 2004 - Prime Hospitality Corp. (NYSE: PDQ), today announced that the Radisson Hotel & Suites, Fairfield and the Radisson Suites, Secaucus have converted to its new upscale, full-service hotel brand, PRIME Hotels and Resorts. The two properties become the second and third hotels in the developing brand.

The hotels join the PRIME Hotel & Conference Center- Saratoga Springs, NY, which inaugurated the brand in January 2003. Both hotels are strategically located in thriving commercial/suburban northern New Jersey, serving corporate and meeting customers. Both hotels are also centers for community and family functions. Prime will continue to own and manage the hotels.

"Our strategy to build a full-service hotel brand is blossoming, and it is supported by the excellent service found in these hotels." Prime plans to convert 12 of their Wyndham Hotels -- in cities such as San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Atlanta -- to the PRIME Hotels & Resorts brand this spring, for a total of 15 hotels nationwide.

The Fairfield hotel, near the Willowbrook Mall on U. S. Highway 46, minutes from the Newark Airport, features 140 rooms and 64 suites, with over 15,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. Riga's is the hotel's popular, award-winning restaurant, featuring Northern Italian cuisine. The Secaucus all-suites hotel, situated in the heart of the Meadowlands' sports and shopping district, features 151 two-room suites, many overlooking the New York skyline, and over 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. The elegant Sandalwood Restaurant features continental cuisine and its lounge features a DJ and dancing. Both hotels feature electronic conveniences like high-speed Internet access and lifestyle conveniences like indoor pools and fitness centers. The hotels will participate in the Prime Rewards frequent traveler program.
