Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino Selects
IAD's Lodging Management System
Atlanta, January 27, 2004   Inter-American Data (IAD) has announced that Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has chosen the Lodging Management System (LMS) to streamline operations and enhance guest service. The hotel also has selected Internet reservations module LMS ResNet as well as attraction ticketing modules LMS ShowGate and LMS ShowNet.

LMS is an integrated property management software designed to create economies of scale and provide greater control of front office, accounting and housekeeping operations. The versatile front-office system easily expands to incorporate additional software modules from IAD and other vendors. LMS ResNet is a Web-based real-time reservation system that allows customers to check hotel room and rate availability, book reservations, pay for a room with a credit card and receive an e-mail confirmation.

LMS ShowGate is a full-service show and attraction ticketing system with venue management capability. The software offers numerous features such as flexible pricing, a variety of seating options, and the ability to comp tickets or charge them to a guests hotel room or credit card. LMS ShowNet, a Web-based ticket purchasing system, allows hotel guests to make show reservations and purchase tickets over the Internet.

In selecting a property management system, flexibility and easy integration were top priorities, according to Sherry Block, data processing coordinator and project manager at Imperial Palace. LMS had the Internet connectivity we wanted as well as the capability to handle online room and show reservations. Whats more, she noted, the softwares interfaces to the hotels casino, movie and phone systems allowed for seamless integration.

Also important was vendor reliability. We chose the LMS property management system because its backed by a company with an outstanding reputation and many years of experience in the Las Vegas market, said Block.

We are pleased that Imperial Palace has selected our software, said Karmalete Webber, Vice President of Sales for Inter-American Data. The hotel really did its due diligence before choosing LMS, and were happy with the outcome of the project.

Imperial Palace, located center-Strip, features 2,700 rooms and suites, a 75,000-square foot casino, 35,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, 10 specialty restaurants, 10 cocktail lounges, a business center, a full-service spa, an independent on-site medical center, and a new wedding chapel. Imperial Palace is also home to the award-winning tribute show, Legends in Concert; the all-new Legends Pit, featuring celebrity look-alike blackjack dealers; and The Auto Collections, the worlds largest collection of antique, classic, muscle and special-interest automobiles available for sale.
