THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS, January 2004�Benchmark Hospitality has announced
through its partner company, Benchmark Japan, that Tokyo Conference Center
Shinagawa has been accepted into the prestigious global organization, the
International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). The conference
center is one of just two facilities in Japan that have been accepted into
the membership of IACC.
Burt Cabañas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Benchmark
Hospitality, and Kozue Honda, General Manager of the Tokyo Conference Center
Shinagawa, together made the announcement.

Tokyo Conference Center Shinagawa was opened by Benchmark Japan in September of 2003. The property features 18,632 square feet of meeting space with ten state-of-the-art conference rooms, including a boardroom, eight breakout rooms and a large hall accommodating up to 500 guests; ergonomic chairs; continuous refreshment breaks; as well as Benchmark's signature conference concierge and audiovisual services. The conference center is located adjacent to Shinagawa Station, providing easy access to and from Tokyo's world-renowned subway and JR train systems. It is Benchmark Japan's second conference center in Tokyo.
