MCLEAN, VA (Feb. 10, 2004) – In 2004, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will present a comprehensive line-up of industry events and programs, delivering educational sessions and strategy conferences as well as business-to-business forums for buyers and suppliers of hospitality, travel and tourism.

HSMAI Airline & Hotel Contracting Strategy Conference
February 19 -21, 2004

The debut of a new, exclusive symposium serving the $1 billion airline contract market segment will be a results-oriented, educational and information packed day-and-a-half event, with keynote addresses, panel discussions and break-out brainstorming sessions. 4th Annual Resort Management Conference

HSMAI University

HSMAI, in partnership with HSA International, debuts its new HSMAI University, providing a wide-ranging schedule of course offerings and learning experiences in public venue, private label and online formats.  Included in the initial roll-out are one- and two-day seminars and workshops, as well as a monthly series of 75-minute “LIVE” net conferences featuring industry experts discussing key issues within the realm of revenue management and electronic distribution. Among the first public venue offerings are workshops on the basic sales process, advanced catering sales strategies and tactics, and Internet sales development.

The first workshops are the “Sales Essentials” public venue courses to be held in eight cities:
